I’ve worked with Spencer since the end of 2018, when I reached out in a moment of panic trying to make weight for a powerlifting competition. During those five intense days, he checked in with me multiple times a day, eased my worries, and reassured me that everything was under control. Not only did I successfully make weight, but that experience marked the beginning of an incredibly meaningful partnership.

From the very start, it was clear that Spencer is not just another trainer. He genuinely cares about what’s happening both inside and outside the gym — prioritizing mental and emotional well-being just as much as physical performance and scale numbers.

In 2021, we took things to an entirely new level when I set the goal of dropping a full weight class. Spencer took on the challenge without hesitation, supporting not only my physical progress but also my mental health throughout the process. I went from 197 to 165 — a transformation that took time, intention, and patience. By focusing first on gut and hormone health and committing to sustainable lifestyle changes, we achieved long-term success rather than a quick fix.

Spencer is more than an exceptional coach and trainer — he becomes a trusted friend, life coach, and confidant. Reaching out to him was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

"First off I'd like to say Spencer is one of the smartest guys I've met when it comes to training and nutrition. He's constantly researching and learning new things because he loves it so much. That will reflect in your training or nutrition plan he sets for you. Spencer really takes the time to understand you and your goals and gives it that personal touch you really won't find anywhere else. He listens to your needs and tactfully programs to fit those needs. Don't be afraid to ask questions either even if you think they're dumb because 99.9% of the time he'll have the answer for you. I originally reached out to Spencer to help make my body more resilient. After unexpectedly experiencing frequent injuries in my sport of powerlifting, I knew something wasn’t right. Through our work together, it became clear that I was dealing with significant inflammation, nervous system dysregulation, and severe under-recovery.

Since working with Spencer, I’ve seen dramatic improvements in my hormone health, gut function, nervous system regulation, sleep quality, and even my ADHD symptoms. Most importantly, my extremely severe back injury has finally begun to heal. For the first time in a long time, I feel genuinely hopeful that I’ll be able to continue in the sport I love.

Beyond his extensive knowledge, Spencer is a genuinely caring human being, an intuitive coach, and a joy to work with. He is truly a worthwhile investment for any athlete looking to elevate both their performance and overall well-being.
